Who We Are
Setter School ("we", "us") operates setterschool.co.uk. We provide training and coaching for people seeking remote appointment-setting roles. For any privacy questions, contact us at support@setterschool.co.uk.
Information We Collect
When you apply through our website, we collect the information you submit: your full name, phone number, email address, Instagram handle, and your answers to our application questions (including your income goals and current situation).
We also collect limited technical data automatically, including your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at our site (for example, via an Instagram ad), through cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Review your application and contact you about it by phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp
- Provide our training programme and related services if you join
- Improve our website and marketing, including measuring the performance of our advertising
- Meet our legal obligations
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (processing your application), legitimate interests (improving our services and marketing), and consent where required (marketing cookies).
Advertising & Analytics
We use advertising and analytics tools, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram) tracking, to measure how people find and use our site. These tools may set cookies on your device. Our site also embeds videos from YouTube; when you play them, Google may collect data as described in its own privacy policy.
Who We Share It With
We share your information only with service providers who help us operate: our form provider (Tally), our CRM and communications platform, our website hosting provider, and advertising platforms (in aggregated or matched form for ad measurement). We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How Long We Keep It
We keep application data for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, and member records for the duration of your membership plus the period required for legal and accounting purposes.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@setterschool.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be at setterschool.co.uk/privacy.
